The HYD&AU Group (Hydraulics & Automation) was created in 1977 from family-run company ATH (Applications Techniques Hydrauliques) and strengthened by a dynamic external growth strategy spearheaded in the early 2000s. The HYD&AU Group today is a French medium size company with 300 employees. It generates revenue of €50 million (2015 figures) and delivers an end-to-end range of mechatronics solutions.
With CEO David Couillandeau at the helm, HYD&AU has carved nationwide leadership status in the hydraulics industry.
HYD&AU customers are mainly industrial customers operating in energy (hydroelectricity, thermal power plants, nuclear plants, etc.), oil & gas, mining, transport, water treatment, marine equipment, timber processing, agricultural machinery, petrochemicals, the steel industry, etc.
HYD&AU is driven by its principle mission of delivering a response to its customers’ global needs.
With expertise encompassing all mechatronics-related issues, HYD&AU has established its reputation as a one-stop shop providing consistent and best-fit solutions.
“The complementary technological skills of the Group’s different companies are instrumental in moving such a project forward and there are plans to develop these synergistic ties in the future.”
